AI and HPC control plane developer Parallel Works announced that it has hired Matthew Archuleta to be its new vice president of operations. The U.S. Army Green Beret joins Parallel Works from Connecticut Innovations, where he served as a senior investment associate, managing venture capital investments across AI, cybersecurity, fintech, and defense tech.
Prior to his work in venture capital, Archuleta served as a U.S. Army Special Forces officer and Infantry officer, commanding elite teams in West Africa and the Middle East. He was awarded the Bronze Star for his leadership in Afghanistan and has been featured in The New York Times and Poets & Quants for his contributions to both national defense and business.

MongoDB has appointed Mike Berry to be its new chief financial officer, where he will lead the public company’s accounting, FPA&, treasury, and investor relations effort. Berry joins MongoDB from NetApp, where he recently retired after five years as CFO. He previously was CFO at McAfee, FireEye, Informatica, IO. Solarwinds, and i2 Technologies.
“I’m thrilled to join MongoDB at such an exciting moment in its growth journey,” Berry said. “While it was not my intention to pursue another CFO role when we announced my retirement from NetApp, the opportunity to join a company the caliber of MongoDB was incredibly compelling. I can’t wait to get started in late May and I look forward to working with the team to create long-term value for our customers, shareholders, and employees.”

Astronomer, the company behind Apache Airflow, announced that Carter Page has joined the company as executive vice president of research and development. The former engineer from Google and Two Sigma brings more than 25 years of enterprise leadership to help the company continue developing its DataOps platform.

Starburst has hired Jitender Aswani to be its new senior vice president of engineering. Aswani joins the data platform with more than 20 years of experience building and scaling high-performance technical teams, with deep expertise in machine learning, data infrastructure, and cloud technologies. In his new role, Aswani will lead Starburst’s global engineering organization and drive innovation across its modern data platform for apps and AI. He will report directly to Starburst CEO and Co-Founder, Justin Borgman.

Precisely has promoted Allan Christian to be its new senior vice president and general manager of its Engage business unit, where he will lead global strategy, product innovation, and go-to-market efforts for Precisely’s customer communications solutions. Christian, who was previously the vice president of engineering and CTO for Engage, will report to Precisely CMO and EVP, Engage Kevin Ruane.

Teradata has named Sumeet Arora as its newest chief product officer, where he will lead the analytic vendors entire product strategy. Previously serving as Teradata’s chief development officer, Arora brings more than 25 years in product development across industry-leading tech brands, including previous stints at ThoughtSpot and Cisco.
“With its Trusted AI, analytics, and data capabilities that work across both on-prem and multi-cloud environments, Teradata is uniquely positioned to enable customers to get value from all of their data,” Arora said. “I am excited to collaborate with the entire Teradata team to accelerate product innovation and be the best development partner for our customers as they leverage AI and data to deliver transformative business outcomes.”

Behavioral data company Fullstory has appointed Chad Gold as its new chief financial officer. Gold joins the company Atlanta, Georgia-based company with more than 20 years of financial leadership experience, including roles as CFO at G2 and Salesloft.
As CFO, Gold will focus on driving Fullstory’s growth in the enterprise market and work closely with the leadership team to help support Fullstory’s recent launch of new behavioral data solution powered by AI agents.
“Fullstory is in a prime position to lead the charge in AI innovation, thanks to the unmatched depth and quality of our behavioral data,” Gold said. “Businesses increasingly turn to AI to drive transformation, and I’m excited to contribute to that momentum.”

Bedrock Security, a provider of data security management solutions, has appointed George Gerchow as its new Chief Security Officer. As CSO, Gerchow, who previously servsed as interim CISO at MongoDB and CSO at Sumo Logic, will be tasked with helping Bedrock spread its metadata lake technology into enterprise accounts..
“Data remains elusive and difficult to inventory. Bedrock’s unique metadata lake approach brings unprecedented visibility and control for organizations as they navigate responsible AI implementation,” Gerchow said. “I look forward to helping organizations address the exponential challenges of data security in cloud and AI environments while expanding our footprint in highly regulated industries.”

The 30-year IT industry veteran was most recently the CIO and CISO at Vonage Holdings Corp.
