Inspired by the beautiful Ai-Toolkit UI, I wanted to try out this clean user interface by training a LoRA based on the beautiful female from the India aka Desi Babes. The process is quite simple, you gather a selection of images of the internet, Instagram is a good place to start. The selection criteria was straight forward just look into the Bollywood actresses and models.
I downloaded and sources about 300+ images and then shortlisted a variety of poses and looks, I narrowed it down to a training sample of 100 images. You don’t necessarily need that many images but I wanted to train with a variety so that you can get a good variations in the final resulting LoRA.
Final touch is to create the captions and I used this LoRA Captioning workflow to generate the base prompts.
Here are the two videos that were used to generate the Desi Babes LoRA. I used 24GB GPU from RunPod and it took under 2 hours to train so that’s a cost of less than $3 for this training. I love using RunPod.
The result are pretty damn good and I trained again with some different captions and sample images. Both of the LoRA are published on Hugging Face and you can download them from there for free.
The Flux Dev LoRA has been trained with the trigger word “d3$ibab3z” which will only enhance resulting image. The LoRA strength you can set can be from 0.8 to 1.2 but you can experiment for what works for you.
Check out some of these samples where it shows the comparison with and without the LoRA. Hope you like using it and would love to see some of you results. I also found the added advantage of using this LoRA was that it gets a bit more realism in the images as well as getting rid of the flux chin.
I have ended up making a custom ComfyUI workflow that can generate these images without use of Photoshop. Its pretty cool and I love using it to see the results of a LoRA.
