Ugreen Nexode Power Bank 25000mAh 200W Review
I’ve had the pleasure of using several Ugreen products over the years, and I was excited to get my hands on the all-new Nexode Power Bank 25000mAh 200W. It’s smaller than the 48000mAh 300W alternative that I use day in and day out, but what it lacks in comparative power it makes up for in both portability and usability.
Design and Build
The Nexode Power Bank 25000mAh is like every other Ugreen product I’ve owned, top quality from start to finish. The premium feel straight out of the box is backed up by hard-wearing and durable materials that stand the test of time. It also packs a range of safety features that protect the device from getting into problems during extreme temperatures or when in danger of overcharging.
Features and Performance
The charging performance is outstanding. The first USB-C port is capable of 140W charging, with the second USB-C port not far behind at 110W. Assuming you have the cables to match, you’ll be charging your devices in no time at all. I tested it on my MacBook Pro with a 100W cable and achieved up to 90W. Despite not hitting the top mark, I was pleased with that.
The maximum output is 200W, which is enough to efficiently charge a laptop and mobile phone at the same time. It’s also very handy having the TFT display, which tells you exactly what is receiving power and how much at any point in time. This really helps to put charging control right in the hands of the user.
Price
The Ugreen Nexode Power Bank 25000mAh 200W is a top-quality product and is therefore not the cheapest power bank on the market. For the power and build quality you’ll need to be happy parting ways with £98.99. If you want to buy well and buy once, then there’s not much out there that even comes close. This is a power bank that will last a long time.
Who’s It For?
This is a power bank that is perfectly designed for those who need power on the go, especially if that involves remote laptop charging. It’s bigger than more portable power banks, but because it packs so much power, you’ll be able to keep a phone and laptop going for a few hours longer than everyone else.
